(a) TEST 1 - Mean pairwise connectivity values across 25 subjects is computed for each task (show in red box) and a permutation test is used to assess the difference between the two tasks. (b) TEST 2 - Pairwise connectivity values are averaged to obtain a single connectivity value per subject for each task (shown in red box).
