Secreted RNS and ROS in the rat serum following soman exposure. Griess Nitrite Assay Kit and ROS Assay Kit were used to determine their concentrations in serum. The results are plotted as µM for serum nitrite (a) and relative fluorescence units (RFU) for ROS (b). Normality was assessed with the Shapiro–Wilk test. Bars represent mean ± SEM, n = 10 (5/sex); ****p < 0.0001 versus control by Unpaired t-test (a,b). No sex differences were observed.
