The combination of retinol and CK decreased UVA-induced apoptosis of HaCaT cells. Protein expression levels of Caspase 8, Caspase 9 and PARP1 were determined using Western blot analysis in HaCaT cells treated with CK (0.001, 0.005, 0.01 mg/mL) with or without VA (0.01 mg/mL), HPR (0.05 mg/mL) or VAPA (0.1 mg/mL) for 24 h.
