The original version of this article contained an inaccurate attribute of the generation of annual burn probability (BP) maps for 2020–2023.
As a result, in the Methods section, where:
“We generated annual burn probability (BP) maps for each year from 2020 to 2023 using a customized version of the Large Fire Simulation Model (FSim; version 1.0.9) in projects for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.”
now reads:
“We utilized annual burn probability maps for 2020 to 2023 generated by Vogler et al. (2021), produced with a customized version of the Large Fire Simulation Model (FSim; version 1.0.9) for projects with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.”
