Each country is represented by a circle, with arrows pointing from the supplier to the receiver. The linkage is based on value-added trade, and a thicker line between two nodes implies a stronger linkage. From the receiver’s perspective, those cross-border value-added flows are the foreign value added. The size of each node is proportional to its degree. In general, a more important supplier of value-added tends to have bigger nodes and to locate in the center of the network.
