The data used here was sourced from NESM3. Specifically, we extracted the daily maximum and minimum temperatures as well as precipitation data in China, under both the SSP245 and SSP585 scenarios. To derive the average temperature, we divided the maximum and minimum temperature phases by two. We computed the variance of future temperature and precipitation in comparison with the 1990–2020 average. Finally, we multiplied this variance by the previously estimated marginal coefficients or elasticities.
