  1. The two tailed t-test was performed to testify the distinct environmental conditions in the select states and city, namely Maharashtra (MH) and Karnataka (KR) along with 4 cities Mumbai (MUM), Kasaragod (KGD), Srinagar (SRG) and New York (NYK). The high T value > Tcritical and p < 0.05 at confidence interval of 95%, leads to rejection of the null hypothesis and depicts the significant difference between the means of the test variables i.e. environmental factor in states/cities.
