If the number of hydroxyl groups [n(-OH)] in oligomers is ≤ 1, dead oligomers are yielded, or oligomerization is terminated by mono-hydroxyl alcohols (pinkish-red regions); but if the n(-OH) > 1, oligomers propagate, and the processes are not governed by alcohols (light blue regions).
