Composites are based on days of high extreme heat synchronization (HWt) between Iran (IR) and northwest India-Pakistan (IN) regions during the MAM season. Anomalies are displayed using color shading, and rectangular black boxes highlight the synchronized regions. Panels show composite anomalies for a, b 5 days before HWt, c, d during HWt, and e, f 5 days after HWt. Black dots indicate statistically significant anomalies at the 95th percentile level.
