In the case of the dsDNA on a MoS2 membrane, a fictive mathematical boundary mimicking a wall parallel to the MoS2 layer and locating 2.6 nm above the membrane was applied in the simulation; without such a wall, the complex may diffuse quickly into the bulk once the simulation is initiated
