The LDOS contributions are resolved into s-, p-, and d-orbitals for spin-up (solid lines) and spin-down (dashed lines). In (a) the left subpanel shows the LDOS of the second 1T-TaS2 layer within the electrode, the middle subpanel represents the LDOS of the 1T-TaS2 layer directly interfacing with the 1T-VSe2 layer, and the right subpanel corresponds to the LDOS of the 1T-VSe2 layer. b Presents the same arrangement for the 2H-TaS2 electrodes. The spin- and orbital-resolved LDOS highlights the distinct electronic contributions from the individual layers and their coupling within the heterostructure.
