This multipanel plot comprises panel (a), which displays the distribution of individual-level percentages of good-quality data recordings across various devices in a boxplot format, annotated with medians and interquartile ranges (IQRs, Q1–Q3). Panel (b) presents a bar plot illustrating the percentage of individuals (for wearables) or households (for which WBGT data were used) with at least one data point for each type of device. The wearables and data logger used are identified by the parameters they recorded: ACT (actigraphy), CBT (core body temperature), ECG (electrocardiography), GPS (location tracking with a Global Positioning System device), and WBGT (wet-bulb globe temperature).
