a Regions with significant negative correlations between FA and hair lead levels are overlaid on the mean preprocessed (including normalization) but not smoothed, FA images of participants from whom the DARTEL template was created (meaning this mean image is in the normalized space). Results were obtained using a threshold-free cluster enhancement of p < 0.025 based on 5000 permutations. Results were corrected at the whole-brain level. The color bar represents the TFCE score. It reflects both voxel’s height and the sum of the spatially contiguous voxels supporting it; therefore, it reflects both the strength and extent of effects.
