  1. Awake and propofol data were acquired from the same subjects, respectively before and after infusion with the anaesthetic. For the DOC patients, 300 volumes were acquired in total, but to ensure consistency with controls we only used 155 consecutive volumes from each patient. Note that no direct comparisons were performed between data acquired in London, ON and data acquired in Cambridge, UK.
