All checkerboard MICs were determined in quadruplicate, and used the color shade to indicate the probability of bacterial growth in the well. The more bacterial growth visible to the naked eye, the darker the color. The concentration of DHA was 16 µg/mL calculated for FIC. **P < 0.01.
