From: Life on a beach leads to phenotypic divergence despite gene flow for an island lizard
Scatterplot of scores from the first two discriminant functions, DF1 (89.2% of total variation) and DF2 (8.9% of total variation) of RGB values recorded from quadrat sampling of the substrate at beach and inland sites. The data were grouped by the eight sample sites in the analysis, but the points are labelled as either beach and inland sites for simplicity. The corresponding 95% confidence ellipses were obtained for the two habitat types (pooled across localities). Sample sizes are given in Supplementary Table 1.
