Eyes were treated once daily with antibodies to the indicated cytokines for 3–4 weeks. The eyes were scored by fluorescein staining before and after treatment. Experiments were done 2–6 times with similar results. The group sizes were: anti-IL-17A, 10; anti-IL-23, 7; anti-IL1β,12; WGA, 6; anti-IL-6, 8; anti-IFN, 7; and anti-TNFα, 8. Values are means ± SE.
