  1. The full model run on all samples included sex (male, female), location (ex-situ: FCC and NZCBI, in-situ: Conata), and their interaction as fixed effects, whereas the sex-specific models included only location as a fixed effect. Type III results were only reported when there was a significant interaction term in the model.
