Based on their expression patterns, DEGs were categorized as “early response genes” (responding only within the first hour), “late-response genes” (after 4 days), and “throughout-response genes” (throughout submergence), then subjected to Gene Ontology enrichment analysis (significantly enriched categories are shown).
