As described further in text and Supplementary Note 8, a (n = 1000 independent simulations) and b validate first order surface interactions whereas c and d validate second-order interactions such as interactions with cytosolic molecules. e Validates vesicle binding interaction (vesicles binding to each other) which can be visualized in f as Blender output of a clustering model showing various stages of dynamic cluster formation (the synapsin dimer proteins that bind vesicles to each other are shown in yellow). The cluster can form or disperse based on cellular activity in the model.
