The bacterial loads in the lungs and spleens of guinea pigs infected with various strains were determined at either 4 weeks or 8 weeks post-infection. The data shown in these panels is the mean ± SD of log10 CFU obtained from either 5 or 6 guinea pigs per strain per time point.
