Data are shown for: (a) Pancreas; (b) Liver; (c) Kidney; (d) Skin; (e) Mixed group (brain, heart, lung, spleen). Four samples were included in each group (see experimental design Fig. 1a). Comparison of 45,X versus 46,XX is shown in the left-hand panel and comparison of 45,X versus 46,XY is shown on the right-hand panel. The top ten most differentially expressed genes in each dataset are labeled, based on adjusted p-value and where log2 fold change (FC) is greater than +/−0.5. Genes with higher expression in 45,X tissues have a positive log2FC and those with higher expression in control samples have a negative log2FC. The significance level of highlighted points is shown in the key.
