Synthesis scheme. Co-doped SnS2/RGO nanocomposites are prepared via a one-step microwave-assisted hydrothermal approach. Under microwave irradiation, l-cysteine decomposes and releases hydrogen sulfide to sulfurize the Sn4+ and Co2+, which are attracted to the GO surface due to the strong electrostatic interactions. Excess sulfur is being incorporated into RGO layers, resulting in a sulfur doping effect
