Coreactant ECL of Au20-AC, Au20(TBBT)16 and Ru(bpy)32+ in solution state. Coreactant ECL experiments were executed in 1:1 TOL: ACN with 0.1 M TBAP and 5 mM TPrA. Pt mesh was used as working electrode, Pt foil and SCE were used as counter and reference electrodes, respectively. a Potential step coreactant ECLs of Au20-AC, Au20(TBBT)16 and Ru(bpy)32+ in solution state. Inset is the spectrum of Au20-AC in solution state. The electrode potential was held for 2 s at denoted potentials in each step over three cycles.
