We show the sector \({q}_{\alpha }=\left[1\,\overline{1}\,0\,0\,1\,\overline{1}\,1\,0\,0\,1\,0\,0\,0\,\overline{1}\,\overline{1}\,0\,0\,0\right]\), where \(\overline{1}\equiv -1\), and use coupling strengths (a) J = 0.1, (b) J = 1, and (c) J = 5. All data is for system size N = 16 and w = 1. We also show, in orange, the averaged DOS across 250 superselection sectors. For (b) and (c), the insets show a close-up around the DOS peak, with the zoom region indicated by gray shading in the main panels; while the overall DOS looks similar for J = 1 and J = 5, we see that for J = 5 the spectrum has split into well-separated “towers” separated by intervals of 2J. These towers are themselves split into peaks with intervals of w.
