The network is represented as a non directed, unweighted, bipartite network, a where a set of squared nodes, e.g., countries or pollinator animals, interact with a disjoint set of circular nodes, e.g., products or plants. Such a network is associated with the incidence matrix b in which the element is equal to 1 if there is a link between the two nodes. The panels from cf show the scores and the rankings that Eq. (1) provides for four values of γ and are discussed in the main text. The black arrows between nodes are changes in the ranking with respect to the degree ranking.
