The critical pressure is determined to be Pc = 17.43 kbar. The red dashed lines represent fits with the mentioned critical pressure and critical exponents as they come out from the theory. The black dashed line represents the hypothetical Ioffe–Regel limit. The inset in panel c shows the 2K magnetoconductance data in the insulating phase to demonstrate the parabolic behavior at very low fields. The data point marked with a red circle in panel f refers to the critical regime. In the critical regime δσ does not fully vanish, as due to a Fermi energy ϵF > 0, the spin–orbit relaxation length remains finite.
