Box plot centre line, top, and bottom line represent the median, 75th, and 25th percentile, respectively. Upper and lower whiskers represent the largest and smallest value within 1.5 times the interquartile range above and below the 75th/25th percentile respectively. Results are split by geographical regions established by Feldpausch et al.44. c, d Spatial distribution of SIF sensitivity to precipitation (c) and temperature (d). Sensitivity was calculated only for pixels that represented, negative precipitation, and positive temperature anomalies respectively. Temperature sensitivity has been inverted to aid in visual interpretation.
