The sample estuaries consist of 36 studied estuaries combined with three estuaries from Rosentreter et al.38 and eight estuaries from Wells et al.21 along the: A Northeastern Western Australia and Northwestern Northern Territory coast, B Northern Queensland coast, C Southern Queensland to Northern New South Wales coast, D New South Wales coast, and E Southwest Western Australia coast.
