Extended Data Fig. 8

a) Comparison of age-related slopes of GTEx Blood high-confidence predictability hits in the GTEx dataset (x-axis) versus the age-related slope of the same genes in the PBMC dataset (y-axis). b) Comparison of age-related slopes of predictability hits in the PBMC dataset in the GTEx dataset (x-axis) versus the PBMC dataset (y-axis). Dots correspond to individual genes and are colored according to the p-values of predictability changes within either the PBMC dataset (a) or the GTEx dataset (b). Hits are defined as genes with significant (p-value < 0.05) age-related predictability changes in the GTEx dataset (a) or the PBMC dataset (b). Each panel represents a different PBMC cell type, with a collective analysis (pooled cell types) in the first and individual cell types (B cells, T cells, NK cells, Monocytes) in the others. A linear trend line (blue) was fit on each panel, nearing significance for GTEx hits in T cells within the PBMC dataset (panel A, p-value = 0.063).
