  1. Notes: Pandemic cohorts are children who were born between April 2020 and April 2021. Pre-pandemic cohorts were born between July 2014 and December 2019. Means and proportions are reported for continuous and categorical variables, respectively. SCST are scheduled caste and scheduled tribes which are socially and economically disadvantaged communities. Maternal education is categorized as no education, primary education, secondary education, and higher than secondary education. Household wealth quintiles are categorized as poorest, poor, middle, richer, and richest groups.
