3D reconstruction of neointima, lumen and stents (1) as well as 3D reconstruction of neointimal tissue prediction (2) and sample frames (3) from two clinical cases. Quantitative statistics derived from DeepNeo are provided as well. a Male with PCI of RCA. OCT 12 months after PCI reveals predominately neoatherosclerotic neointima. During follow-up, the patient underwent target lesion revascularization (TLR) due to in-stent restenosis with unstable angina. b Male with PCI of the left anterior descending artery. OCT 12 months after PCI reveals predominantly homogenous neointima. During follow-up, no adverse events occurred. Note how neoatherosclerosis can lead to a loss of signal leading to undetected stent struts (white box in a1 and a2). Note the correct classification of uncovered stent struts as “not analyzable” (blue line in b1 and b2) and detection of a side-branch (white circle in b1).
