  1. Poisson regression models were used to estimate RRs and 95% CIs for the associations between blood cell indicators and depression risk. P values are two-sided and were corrected for multiple comparisons using the FDR. Sample size: n = 87,493 participants. Model 1 is adjusted for baseline age and sex. Model 2 is further adjusted for smoking status and drinking habits. Model 3 is further adjusted for hypertension, diabetes and BMI.
