What we obtain confirms that (i) any two nodes within the same bipartite group share a significantly large number of concordant motifs that, in turn, induces a positive connection in the projection; (ii) any two nodes belonging to different bipartite groups may share either a significantly large number of discordant motifs, inducing a negative connection in the projection, or a significantly large number of concordant motifs, inducing a positive connection in the projection.
