  1. Total energies of the three atomic-scale spin lattices considered for Fe/Ir-3/Re(0001) (cf. Fig. 3) with respect to the FM state with and without (w/o) SOC. The total energies are given as calculated by DFT and obtained using the atomistic spin model. All energies are given in meV/Fe atom.
