Results are expressed as mean ± standard deviation for the healthy controls () and patients (▲) groups. Ammonia was measured by routine clinical chemistry laboratory at the site where the assay was performed. Since this was a multi-center study, not all time points were measured for ammonia and not all patients had any ammonia measurement.
