(a) The study design entailed four different exposure groups and three time points (0, 3, and 6 months), where mice were allocated for each category. The number of mice assigned to each exposure group for each time point and design are summarized. (b) Schematic illustration of microarray analysis. For detailing gene expression patterns of the four mouse groups, we performed whole-genome microarray and pathway analyses using the liver samples of mice fed with the resveratrol-enriched rice DJ526 (DJ526), Dongjin rice (DJ), treated with resveratrol alone (RS), and control (Ctrl).
