PCA of the normalized datasets shows the position of each sample on PC space. (b) Volcano plot for kenpaullone (left panel) and mevastatin (right panel) relative to DMSO. The x-coordinate of each point is the mean delta between the log2(fold-change) of a given protein under treatment (kenpaullone or mevastatin) and DMSO across days 7 to 15. The y-coordinate is the –log10(p-value) computed using single sample t-test on the delta log2(fold-change) values across days 7 to 15. Points marked in red are proteins for which the absolute mean delta log2(fold-change) value is above 2.5 and the p-value is below 0.05.
