Construction of a plasmid that contains the full-length JEV genome. pACNR-JEV3ʹ was digested with BspEI and XhoI. The 7.5 kb DNA fragment was harvested and ligated into pACNR-JEV5ʹ, which was digested by the same restriction enzymes. The final plasmid DNA was named pACNR-JEV (1–10 977) that bears the complete JEV genome sequence.
