For a multiple-resource MG system of N = 10000 agents on a square lattice and k = 16 available strategies, (a) numerically obtained bifurcation-like behavior that leads to the emergence of various pairs of grouping states [e.g, (8,8), (4,12), etc.], (b) predicted bifurcation from mean-field theory (the Discussion section) and (c) results from an improved mean-field theory (the Discussion section).
The probability of random selection in the absence of local information is set to be m = 1.
