Disease resistance induced by imprimatinC1 and its potential active metabolite in Arabidopsis plants.
Arabidopsis seedlings were grown for 4 weeks under short-day conditions and water containing 200 µM concentrations of the experimental compounds was sprayed onto the plants. As a positive control, 100 µM sodium salicylate (SA) was used. After 3 days, virulent Pst (a) and avirulent Pst-avrRpm1 (b) were inoculated into leaves via syringe infiltration and the numbers of bacteria were counted on the indicated days.
