From: Antiproton induced DNA damage: proton like in flight, carbon-ion like near rest
Simulated dose profiles.
Depth and lateral dose profiles for simulated clinically relevant (10 mm SOBP) proton (blue line; 120 MeV), carbon (green line; 240 MeV/u) and antiproton beams (red line; 120 MeV). Effective dose profiles obtained from the physical dose profiles and considering the RBESOBP/plateau ratios reported in this work.
