From: Controlled assembly of graphene-capped nickel, cobalt and iron silicides
Quasi-freestanding character of graphene on silicides.
The sequence of ARPES data for graphene on Ni(111) (a) and at its detachment upon Si intercalation and silicide formation (b–d). The data were obtained near the K-point of graphene Brillouin zone using 40 eV photons.
