From: Realising Haldane's vision for a Chern insulator in buckled lattices
Hexagonal unit cells with zero net magnetic flux.
The upper two unit cells are a buckled honeycomb lattice in an in-plane magnetic field. In the lower pane is shown Haldane's unit cell1. The direction of positive flux accumulation is indicated by the arrows along the bonds. For clarity, I have only shown the bonds along a single sublattice.
