(a) Far-UVCD (b) Near-UVCD and (c) Steady state tryptophan fluorescence measurements of Y48W (left), F73W (middle) and F77W (right column) KMP-11 mutants in the absence (black) and presence of 500 mM arginine (red), 500 mM gdn.HCl (blue) and 1 M sucrose (dark green). Necessary background corrections were made in each measurement. All these experiments were carried out in 20 mM sodium phosphate buffer at pH 7.4 at 25°C.
