Measured (black) and calculated (red) reflection coefficients of a (a) single slab and (b) double slab aw shown, respectively. The reflection coefficient was measured by an upstream microphone using the source as the reference signal. The transmission loss was measured by a downstream microphone, shown in Fig. S2. The theoretical results were calculated using power intensity values found using the finite element package COMSOL.
