The fit of random graph models to yeast PPI functional sub-networks.

We present results for four different biotechnologies — (a) “acms”, (b) “acw”, (c) “rc” and (d) “y2h” — as these data sets produce functional sub-networks dense enough to be modelled with confidence (explained above). Together, these four cover over 90% of all interactions in BioGRID (e). The literature curated set of PPIs55 (f) also contains sufficient PPI data for all 14 functional subnetworks to be induced on it. On the x-axis, label FULL denotes the complete yeast PPI network (named in the panel's title) and labels A, B, C, …, N denote sub-networks of FULL broken down according to biological functions.
