Effect of different concentrations of [Ag(GSH)]⁺ on the intracellular accumulation of Ag NCs in HeLa cells.

HeLa cells were incubated with DMEM in the absence (a; control) or in the presence of [Ag(GSH)]⁺ 40.0 μg/mL (b) or 100.0 μg/mL (c) for 24 h at 37°C. The cells were examined under a confocal fluorescence microscope, using a 590 nm fluorescence excitation wavelength. Relative fluorescence intensity variations (d) along cross-sections A (in a), B (in b), or C (in c) (the color gradient coding illustrates the direction of the sampling).
