Molar ellipticity at 201.5 nm was measured by circular dichroism on the EcTrx (black bars) and PfTrx (grey bars) proteins (10 μM in PBS) incubated for the indicated times (0–24 h) at 100°C; positive and negative values indicate a folded or unfolded state, respectively. Data are mean ellipticity values ± s.e.m. from three independent experiments.
