Culture and identification of VMECs.

VMECs exhibited cobblestone morphology under phase-contrast microscope. In addition, the immunofluorescence staining for specific markers of endothelial cells (e.g. CD31, VE-Cadherin, VIII Factor and VEGFR-2) was positive.
